About The Artist

Celinda Stevens is a multimedia artist specializing in watercolour, inspired by a well-travelled life and experiences with cultures from around the world. These influences allow her to explore a wide range of subject matter, expressed through her own realistic style of wildlife, floral, and landscape paintings.

Originally from Mexico, Celinda was born into a family with many artistic interests, which sparked her passion for painting from a very young age.

Her artistic foundation was further developed in Canada, where she has lived for most of her life. Over the years, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, establishing herself as a respected artist within the watercolour community.

International Recognition

Celinda’s paintings have been featured in international competitions throughout Europe for several years. Most recently, she received an Honourable Mention in France (2025) at Aquarelle Pyrénéenne.

She is currently exhibiting in Italy at Fabriano in Acquarello 2026 and was selected as one of the winning artists invited to exhibit with the Masters at IWM 2026 at Lilleshall Hall, England, in May 2026.
